Welcome to Peachy Keen Planners website! My name is Courtney Guthrie, I have been doing weddings for over 10 years and I am the owner and founder of Peachy Keen Planners. Everything I know about planning events, I learned from my mother, Lisa West. She was the owner and founder of Simple Gatherings at Four Oaks Manor. I started Simple Gatherings at Four Oaks Manor with my mother, sister and brother. I worked at Four Oaks for 6 years and my last year at Simple Gatherings I started Peachy Keen Planners as a way to branch out on my own and to have the ability to plan and design weddings all over Georgia. Flash forward 6 years later and I couldn't be happier with all that I have achieved and continued to achieve. I am a hands on wedding and event planner and I can customize creative options to accommodate your budget and make your day truly shine with a unique flair. My passion for weddings and events will ensure that you have the perfect day to start a lifetime of memories.
Planning weddings and events in Georgia is a way of life for me. I love what I do and it is always a new experience every time. I specialize in turning clients dreams into reality. My goal is to provide my clients with fun, stress free, and customized wedding and event planning. I love creating new visions with clients and brides, watching ideas grow and eventually come to life. I love a challenge and I am ready to roll up my sleeves and bring any idea to life. Courtney Mann - Wedding Planner & Coordinator
Hi! I'm Courtney aka “The Other Courtney.” I am a wedding planner and coordinator for PKP. I have lived and worked in the Atlanta area for over 3 years now. Before moving to Atlanta, I was raised outside of Athens, GA where I eventually moved to for college. In 2011, I earned a Bachelors Degree in Journalism and Advertising. I have worked in many facets of the hospitality industry learning mostly from my years in restaurants. It wasn't until I worked in 2 top restaurants in Atlanta that I was introduced the event world. The door was opened to everything from company holiday dinners or small family gatherings to large scale weddings and rehearsals.
While leading the events department at a restaurant, I soon realized that weddings were the most rewarding aspect of my job. They are both intimate and exciting and always full of happiness and a sense of togetherness. I wanted to make them my career. That's when I met Courtney. She has given me the best opportunity I could ask for. She has taught me the ins and outs of the wedding business and I feel together we make a great team in bringing a couple’s dreams to life. That is my favorite part after all, meeting new people with new ideas and having a hand in helping them create/execute their big day. I look forward to working with our future lovebirds and making their wedding dreams become a reality they can cherish forever.
Maryelle St. Clare - Assistant Wedding Coordinator & Setup Leader
Hello! I'm Maryelle, and I am in my third year of working for Peachy Keen Planners! I come to PKP from the film & TV world, where I work primarily in the Art Department as a production assistant, set dresser, set decorator, and art director. Before I worked in the film industry, I had a career in business operations and prior to that worked for more than 10 years in the restaurant & catering industry as a bartender, server, and restaurant manager. I also run my own business (an artist space, prop rental company, and filming studio) here in Atlanta.
I find that decorating for weddings is very similar to production design and set decorating for a film and in fact refer to my part in it as "doing set dressing for weddings." I have greatly enjoyed working for PKP and am always amazed that no two weddings have ever looked exactly the same. Being part of someone's happiest day and knowing that they can relax and put their trust in Peachy Keen to handle everything they need so they can enjoy their families and friends without worrying about a thing is very satisfying to me. I enjoy helping the bride feel like she can focus solely on her wedding! It is what I would want for myself and so it's what I want to do for our clients. Staci Wright - Wedding Planner & Coordinator
If you are looking for a non-traditional wedding coordinator – I am your lady! I joined the Peachy Keen team in July of 2015 and have over 3 years of event planning and coordinating experience. I grew up in a small town in sunny Florida and received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of South Florida.
I've been known to rock some pastel hair colors, I have tattoos from my rebellious years in college and I choose hiking boots over heels any day. I'm creative and love making gifts instead of purchasing them and I'm all for anything and everything outdoors. My biggest attribute is that I always have a smile – no matter how crazy the day. Though, it’s easy to smile when you love what you do! Don’t be surprised if you see me on the dance floor at your wedding reception!
